Dr. Justin Strief is a native of Hancock County and a graduate of Hancock High School. He pursued his passion for animal health at Mississippi State University, earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2015. Since entering practice, Dr. Strief has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to pets and their families throughout the Gulf Coast region.
As an owner of Hancock Animal Clinic, Dr. Strief is committed to combining modern veterinary medicine with personalized service, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care. His professional interests include surgery and internal medicine, areas in which he particularly enjoys helping patients overcome complex medical challenges, and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Strief and his wife, Stephan, are proud parents to three children: Chandler, Camille, and Cole. Their family also includes two beloved dogs, Stella and Maya, who keep life at home active and entertaining.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Strief enjoys spending time with his family and taking advantage of the many outdoor opportunities the Mississippi Gulf Coast has to offer. His hobbies include fishing, golfing, following sports, and spending time on the river. He values the strong sense of community in Hancock County and is honored to serve the pets and families of the area he calls home.
